Re: Day 3 (MM): Event: Build-A-Shrine
"Then if the Shugenja believes that Suitengu and Isora are who heaven decrees we ought to dedicate the shrine to, we should follow heavens will. Though I believe that we ought to pay heed to Osano-Wo in some way, seeing as his eyes are upon us."

Re: OOC
Having had a 504 I can appreciate the student end of that spectrum. I hardly ever had to use it but just having it took a huge load off of my shoulders. Now I am in college studying my passion of history and next semester I will be taking my first education class. There I will have the opportunity t...

Re: Day 3 (MM): Event: Build-A-Shrine
"I agree, Daidoji-san. We ought to seek the wisdom of a monk or Shugenja in this matter, their word has much weight on spiritual matters. They are more practiced in determining the will of heaven after all."

Re: OOC
Yukari favors either honoring the spirts of the island itself (but that's tricky, since we don't know who they are) or Suitengu and Isora as a double act, being as we're a community on a shoreline.... Sure, in that case let's have a theological argument at the shrine. Tragically, poor little Yukari...

Re: Day 3 (MM): Event: Build-A-Shrine
Hiromoto was aiding those working on the shrine. They had yet to dedicate it and as he was pondering the issue he looked out at sea. Clear as the rare glass of the Unicorn there was to be a tempest. "An Omen. Just as we raise the foundations of this Shrine Osano-Wo himself has sent us a message. Cle...

Although, you did say there was a storm coming right? Clearly this is an omen from the Heavens! We obviously must dedicate this shrine to Osano-Wo!

Ok now that's just not allright. I hope you don't blame Suitengu for that. It's clearly a messed up GM who screwed you.Daidoji Kenzo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 9:20 pmThe monster swallowed me whole and I was still able to fight inside it but he ruled that it got it's full armored TN even in it's stomach.

Re: GM Questions
I am also used to 3e and 4e where it isn't a thing. So I see it as a major departure from the lore. But if you are used to 5e it now makes sense why you would be more used to it. Sorry about being a THAT Guy. I didn't mean to come across as one. I'm just used to love being a thing for the storybooks...

Re: GM Questions
Ok I guess that makes sense. It just rankles me somewhat considering Rokugan's focus on lineage and I don't see how an unhappy arranged marriage to someone of the same sex is any better than an unhappy arranged marriage to the opposite sex. But it's your game, I'm the new guy, and like I said it's n...

Re: OOC
Mostly getting our bearings still. It has been hot the first two days but a storm is on the horizon. We are currently trying to decide on matters around building a shrine. Day 3 (MM): Event: Build-A-Shrine other then that we are free to do whatever we want. Keep in mind that 1 day in game is 1 week...
