The cove is a small, sheltered area that's full of small and large creatures that live on both the land and sea. On occasion, there have been a few massive salamanders that have been captured and brought into the village as a delicacy for the higher ups. Yet, it's not often done, as Asako Qi has warned of being respectful to the creatures already living on the island. After each meal, they give a prayer in thanks to the island and the salamander. Of course, other things like crabs and clams are located here, too.
