[D3 EA] Planning a Ceremony

[Miya Akari]

Taking her own cup and sipping, she seems a bit more content. "I caught a small shark once. Must have been very young. Usually you only catch them from a fishing boat with specific intent."

She then moved to rest her head on Yukari's shoulder. "It was very strong despite it's small size."

"What is something you've always wanted to do but never had the chance to?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"A shark? Wow..."

Yukari was doing the math on teeth and thrashing...

"Something I've always wanted to do? I'll give you two answers there. One? Ride a horse. I'm not sure I'd do any good with it, but it just looks... fun. Twp?"

She rested her head on Akari's.

"Wake up next to somebody. Without having had to sneak home."

She cleared her throat. Sipped her tea.

"How about you? Something you've always wanted to do that hasn't happened yet?"

[Miya Akari]

She lifted one of Yukari's hands to her lips. "Then we will take care of one of those two things for sure. And I do not have a horse," she states matter of factly.

"Something I've always wanted to do? I've always wanted to see Lord Moon and Lady Sun meet in the sky. I've never gotten the chance to see that, but it apparently happens occasionally?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"Oh, yes... I've also never seen it- well, not beyond an illusion Tsuna-sensei demonstrated once, but it happens."

She sighed.

"Just have to hope it's not overcast when it happens..."

[Miya Akari]

The warm tea in her hands was comforting, but not as much as resting against the Phoenix. "They spend so much time running from and chasing each other. Seeing that moment when they can finally embrace. I feel it would be beautiful."

[Shiba Yukari]

"Maybe someone around here knows enough about it to let us know when it'll happen next."

[Miya Akari]

"We'll need to find out. Perhaps I can take the opportunity to kiss you while the Moon kisses the Sun?" she suggests.

[Shiba Yukari]

"That's a lovely idea..."

[Miya Akari]

She moves her hand to Yukari's cheek, readjusting herself and the Phoenix for a kiss. She held it for a long moment, the smiled. "Not going to stop me from doing so before or after though."

[Shiba Yukari]

"Well, naturally."

[Miya Akari]

"Next question..." she says in a pleased tone. "What has been your most frightening experience?"

[Shiba Yukari]

Yukari laughed.

"Definitely the ship ride here, at least when I was coherent enough to worry about anything. My turn... what's your happiest childhood memory?"

[Miya Akari]

"I met the emperor when I was just 6. And it still stands out as a more important memory than any other. I don't know if it us my happiest, but it's a happy memory and my strongest," she explained.

[Shiba Yukari]

"You... of course, you're of the Imperial Families..."

Yukari actually lost sight of what that meant from time to time.

[Miya Akari]

"Not all imperial family members get to actually meet the Emperor. Most do not. It's common to see him, but to actually stand in his presence and interact is entirely different," she replied, with a smile. "I gave him a flower. He smiled at me."

"What about yourself? Your happiest memory?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"Probably the first time I got a little patch of garden to tend."

Which hadn't actually been that long ago, either.

"Just a chance to do things my way."

[Miya Akari]

"Oh?" she said, before sipping some tea, setting the cup aside, then returning her head to Yukari's shoulder.

"The feeling of freedom makes you happy then?" Her hand moves to rejoin the Shiba's.

"Does that mean you will be the one doing the tying?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"No. Because I never feel more free than when you've got me well in hand."

She sighed.

"The garden, though, was where I made choices. I liked that."

[Miya Akari]

"I would like to see you taking charge and making all the decisions though. I wouldn't mind being your garden," she says in a playful tone.

[Shiba Yukari]

"I suppose we'll see. Eventually."

She Sat, enjoying the closeness. Then.

"Hm, my turn to ask a question, I think... how worried are you about the island's dangers?"
