[D4 EA Open] Thunder and Flowers

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Ah... I see, Daidoji san thinks the same... I always feel sad and lonely." She continued to look at the clouds that are looming in the horizon. "You must have many good friends Miya sama."

[Miya Akari]

"Not so many on this island," she replied with a chuckle. "Simply aren't enough people here."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

The Doji nodded. "It is weird right I imagine that your travels you have made many friends while I have just been almost despised."

[Miya Akari]

"Well, people can be stupid and cruel. Better to spend time with those that accept you for who you are and have no expectation for you to be anything else," Akari says with a shrug. "I've had my fair share of disagreeable acquaintances. And they take up such a small amount of my time that they don't warrant any more consideration than remembering I don't want to talk with them."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I see...It is okay then... for me to be your friend." She wondered. "I would like that."

[Miya Akari]

"I'm glad to be so, and already consider you a friend to me, Doji-san," she said with a warm smile.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I hope I don't disappoint you." She said with a sad smile. "I know it is not proper but...can... can I have a hug?"

[Miya Akari]

"I was just thinking that I wanted to give you a hug, but didn't know if you would want one," she says with a wide smile. She stepped up to Hanatsuko, who was slightly taller than she was, and hugged her around the waist, resting the side of her head against her shoulder. It was warm and she was comfortable with the contact.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

The slightly taller Doji placed her arm around the Miya a bit reluctantly at first and gave in as it was something that she need a long time ago. She let go. "Thank You Miya sama."

[Miya Akari]

"Of course, Doji-san," she replied with a nod. "Whenever you want a hug, just ask. Whenever you need a hug, just hug. But I find they're always needed."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I don't..." She sighed. "I don't want to impose my will... I know I will be fine..."

[Miya Akari]

"It's not imposing if I asked for it," Akari replied with a smile.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Ah... of course." She smiled "I understand now... I will try to be more assertive and ask for what I wish."

[Miya Akari]

"I would like to see that," she agreed with a nod.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

The Doji nodded. "I guess we can start..." The Doji giggled and took off her sandals. "I'll race you to the water."

[Miya Akari]

The Miya had raced on sand more than a few times since coming here. She was a big fan of the beach so running and exercise with others out here was always fun. The open beach more than the cove, but just as enjoyable here.

"I'm pretty quick," she said with a wide smile while slipping off her sandals. "Don't let my short legs fool you."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

Hanatsuko giggled even though she wasn't used to running barefoot on the beach. The Doji stumbled a few times with out falling. "I am not that athletic Miya sama." She seemed happy to be running on the beach even if she wasn't that graceful.

[Miya Akari]

Akari chased Hanatsuko for a little, pulled ahead, then moved to chasing again. Playing in the sand was something the Imperial enjoyed. And it was made better by doing so with someone else that enjoyed it.

"Fun's all that matters," she replied with a wide smile, not worried about who was more athletic.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Yes..." The Doji fell on the sand and started to laugh. "That is what matters... now."

[Miya Akari]

The Miya dropped to her knees in the sand next to Hanatsuko. In a friendly manner, she took one of the Cranes hands. "Have you ever written in wet sand? I sometimes offer prayers to Suitengu that way. I write out the prayer in the sand, then he comes and takes it with the waves."
