[D1 ME] This Beach is Fire

[Miya Akari]

"I would like. But I would not go any farther out in the open night air where anyone might walk by. As much as I would love to," she replied with a smile, settling next to the Shiba. "I simply got caught up in the moment and in you."

[Shiba Yukari]

"I..."

She took a breath. Centered herself.

"As you say, Akari-sama. I... imagine privacy is at something of a premium here."

[Miya Akari]

"It is. And with so few, rumors escalate quickly," she admits. "I tend not to contribute to their spread, but that doesn't stop one from being their inspiration," she said with a smile to the Phoenix. Her eyes roamed to places she'd rather be roaming with hands.

"So. This has been the farthest you have been? I'll have to expand your awareness then. I think you may yet prove to be a capable explorer."

[Shiba Yukari]

"It's been a question of circumstance."

She smiled- shyly again, since the moment seemed to have passed.

"While courts offer more, ah... possibilities? They also have more direct supervision."

[Miya Akari]

As the conversation continues on she finds herself become more excited rather than calm. She had stepped outside the bounds, drawn to this beautiful woman but then reigned herself in. Now she was frustrated inside.

"Understandably so. But I can't help but think about..." Fortunes, I can't stop thinking about... "...your lips." ...the possibilities.

The two separate thoughts crash together and the wrong one is verbalized. She was acting like a giddy teen not even out of gempukku.

"I... can't seem to keep my thoughts straight Yukari-san." The moment had not apparently passed for the Miya, and it was clearly written in her expression. She may be the more experienced of the two of them, but she apparently had a much stronger drive too.

[Shiba Yukari]

Yukari blushed again.

"Akari-san, if you go on... flattering me, I may well become insufferable..."

[Miya Akari]

"I'm not certain I can wait until tomorrow to see you again," she admits. "I want to suffer you. It doesn't sound like suffering at all."

[Shiba Yukari]

"I've always done what i can to relieve suffering where I see it..."

[Miya Akari]

"Perhaps if you're feeling compassionate later, you might consider knocking at my door?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"That would involve knowing which is yours..."

[Miya Akari]

"It is on the second floor. I will leave a flower next to the door."

[Shiba Yukari]

Yukari bit her lip again.

It was... risky, in its way, but...

"Should I... bring anything?"

[Miya Akari]

"Only those eyes and a sense of adventure."

Akari looks Yukari over, hungrily.

"And a towel," she adds on.

[Shiba Yukari]

Yukari blinked.

"A towel?"

[Miya Akari]

She nods. "Just in case."

[Shiba Yukari]

Yukari simply nodded.

And wondered what "just in case" meant under the circumstances.

[Miya Akari]

"If we need it you won't be disappointed. If we don't, you still won't be disappointed."

She smirks playfully. Frustration giving way to anticipation, a much more pleasant feeling.

"Perhaps you can give me some tips? How do you get your hair so perfect?" I want to make a mess of it.

[Shiba Yukari]

"Oh, that's just... regular brushing, and application. Just... practice."

Yukari shifted slightly.

"I could show you later? And, ah..."

Her confidence is so arresting.

"Sometimes there's a bit of a variety involved- it depends on the impression you want to make."

[Miya Akari]

"Did you prepare it today to try and make the impression I got?" she asks. "Because if not, I am scared a bit of how I might react when you do."

[Shiba Yukari]

"Oh, ah... well. It's... as much about how you want to be approached as how approachable you want to be, if that makes sense?"
